internet connection is okay...
still my system is not fetching files from the ubuntu server..

i also check software sources.
that is also okay...

You should really wrap that in code quotes (the # button in the message), that keeps it clean as it puts it in a box where you can scroll through. This is likely due to a software source that is old/not working. Go to the software centre, click Edit > Software Sources and check if anything is referring to an old version of Ubuntu or if anything else seems that can be the problem in the "other sources" tab. You can post a screenshot if you'd like.
