Emerald fails

when trying : emerald --replace or setting that option in compizconfig window decoration i end up with no window frames. ive tried reinstalling the package.

i get this in terminal:

(emerald:3363): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "ubuntulooks",
Segmentation fault

and use this to get my desktop manageable again:

gtk-window-decorator --replace

please help

The solution I found is here ......

( its not simple though as its from root and it could mess up your system )

I have it running on one system but it failed with errors on another one ...... in progress
