Hello!

Im pretty new to ubuntu and this forum so plz forgive me if i made a mistake. I really searched the forum and tried everything but nothing worked so far.

I just installed the Ubuntu 11.04 natty for intel on my brandnew samsung notebook. Everytime i try to install any program (tried Zend Studio 8 and the in the package contained Java-Binary) from a binary file i get the error:
"Cannot execute binary file"

What i tried so far:
I copied the extracted installation folder to "/usr/zend/".
I made it "rw" for everyone: "sudo chmod 666".
I made it able to execute with the "sudo chmod +x" command.

I'm totally sure that I'm just making a foolish newbe mistake :P , but plz help me anyway.
Thanks
Nik
