Is there any plans to release CD's for downloads with Packages on it like Fedora does?
I am asking cause I know of a couple of institutions that would want to play with a distribution but they have no internet connection.
I get this so often. "So where do I find apps?" , "On the Net" "But I dont have a connection" A lot of these people are interested in PC's and learning but they come from a disadvantaged background and can afford the luxury of internet.
I would go and install it for them but even by downloading a DEB and then running it from CD doesnt work most of the time.
I think it will be a good thing esp, after Hoary release.
