11.04 wired problem

I had another thread which was useless as nobody replied.
Basically i had this problem before 11.04 as i tried the online update to 11.04 which kept failing so used a CD to update.
Sometimes my internet works great, which only lasts a couple of minutes until its slow, and to the point where it cant even get 1% on a youtube upload.
Since i duel boot i have tried the internet on Windows and it seems to work absolutely perfect.
Anyone know of any fixes for this???!!

i would suggest post #3. and see if your plugins are giving you any grief

I tried both Chrome and Firefox 4 and they both seem to have problems..this also applies for my software center as when I tried installing Chrome it took a couple of attempts...

Also, I have found a difference. Chrome allows me to upload videos to youtube, firefox does not...at all. BUT firefox whilst uploading an 80mb video but its saying 150 minutes at 5% where as usually it should be approx 30 minutes!
Getting annoyed with having to go in to Windows to upload videos and actually have a functioning internet :/

Bump? Going to check for updates and see if that might help...
