I have a Sager NP5135. i7 640M, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GT425M with Optimus and was using 10.10 with no problems. Suspend worked great and no problems with the kernel. After the upgrade, when I tried to boot to the new kernel from GRUB, it flashed some artifacts, then the screen went black. I can hear the splash screen starting but the screen remains black. I am currently using the previous kernel but would like to get the full benefits of the upgrade. Also, suspend no longer works.
