Wow, that price sucks.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009255

159 USD instead, 23 Inch, LED Monitor with HDMI, Acer. Or if you must have the extremely high contrast ratio:

Same price, No HDMI. However, I have this as my Teleset: http://westinghousedigital.com/products/lcd/42-55/tx42f810g/

And it takes less power than most LCD Monitors (Unless they're LED >_>)

hi guys!
would love to hear some recommendation of what type of monitor to get for my new rig. anyway if you all wanna know the graphic card is msi6950 2gb.
looking to get a IPS Panel Monitor , saw a lot only hd ready only. why ah?
would prefer 23/24inch. price below $260?
I've just looked into this NEC 23" LED LCD IPS Panel Monitor (http://tinyurl.com/3pjndqd)
Is it really that good? Any other good options?
thanks all

Horrible gaming monitor. It'll lag. If you're going to be playin fighting games or fps games, avoid that one. For rpg's, it doesn't really matter.

That depends on the RPG. If it's newer Star Ocean, Radiata Stories or Tales RPG style, or Vindictus, then you seriously need low delay / etc.

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW (with 3000:1 dynamic contrast). I use it for my PC and my PS3 & I love it. Cost me about £220 a few years back, so I imagine you can get it for much cheaper now.

I'm running a 24" Samsung SyncMaster 2443, on my No.2 box & PS3. It is faultless.

It has two inlets, it can tell whether the digital or analogue machine is feeding it & acts accordingly.

Though really that is just a side benefit. This thing is faster than anything I can put into it. :)

I have a syncmaster t220, pretty good monitor. Has no hmdi, won't recognize the PS3 with a hdmi to dvi plug, it does for the xbox 360, but I tossed it in the bin (not really, sold it :p).
