Problem: Extend Volume is Grayed out.
Do I need some special program?

Windows 7 32-Bit

You drive has no left over space, so the 'extend a partition' should be grayed out.

However, the 'shrink a partition' is available, and that is what you need to make space for a new extended partition to load Ubuntu into.

If you want a full set of steps, we need to know about your current HDD layout.

Please boot off the Ubuntu LiveCD/LiveUSB, select 'TRY', and then:
