View Full Version : [ubuntu] Window Decorations not sticking

Having some problems configuring my new 11.04 install.
In my last thread here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1750665) the window frames and buttons disappeared but the problem was fixed by ticking on the "Window Decoration" plugin in Compiz Config.

Since that, I reformatted and re-installed both *******7 and Ubuntu 11.04.

Now a similar problem is occurring, when I restart Ubuntu the window frames and button are gone. But I look in Compiz Config and the 'Windows Decoration' is still ticked on.

I finally figured out that every time I restart or boot up Ubuntu, I just reload 'Window Management' and the frames come back.

It's a simple mouse click every time I boot up, so it's no big deal. But is there any way I can keep the windows decorations (frames and buttons) without having to reload Window Management every time I start Ubuntu?

Cheers,
PepeLapiu :)
