anjuta help not working in kubuntu

Hi, I cannot get the anjuta help to display on kubuntu 11.04.

I installed anjuta via synaptic in kubuntu 11.04. When I try to open the help the pc starts using massive amounts of ram to the point where I have to pull the plug and reboot...

Any help on how to fix this?

Could this be due to the fact that anjuta is a gtk application and in kubuntu it has to work in a kde environment? maybe does not have all its environments variables setup correctly?

Anybody that can please shed some light?
