View Full Version : [SOLVED] Reclaim my desktop in 11.04

I find two things really annoying in the new desktop management:

1. - the automatic maximisation of windows when dragged to the top, with the associated jerkyness as I try and move a window near the top of screen

2. - the new scroll bars

I'm sure I should be able to undo these but can't find the way.

I'm using 11.04, Classic desktop, amd64 system

Thanks for any pointers

Try installing CompizConfig Settings Manager (Ubuntu Software Center).

Can be tweaked with this.

Thanks.

Point 1. sorted

Strange with the scroll bars: Firefox, skype and Libre Office with 'normal' scroll bar. amule and the compizconfig settings manager have the hiding scroll button. Still can't find the solution to this one, but can manage to live with it.
