I upgraded to 11.04 my top bar is now black text on black background which is obviously inconvenient. How do I configure the system colors?

Also how do I change the size and location of the activities bar?

In compiz is the unity plugin is a opacity control.

Have you tried logging out then back in if you mess with the setup in compiz enough you can end up with the upper panel looking that way it is actuality the panel on top of the original panel, that is the problem.
