Help with reinstall / live usb and cd don't work

My computer crashed with Ubuntu 11.04. After a long time I was able to make a backup using a live usb. I wanted to do a reinstall, but now the live usb doesn't work anymore after it froze during installation. I can't reinstall it again.

I've tried burning a live cd as well, and that one doesn't work at all.

Managed to install it using Lili Usb creator to make a live cd, but now the internet doesn't work. No wireless connections show up.
