Hi, i have a problem with my ubuntu (wubi installation). According to the megathread, i need a liveUSB to boot in and do some rescue job. So i made one in WIN7 on a 2G usb disk.

When using it, i can see the boot menu, but after the splash screen, it seems stopped at a black screen. Have i done something wrong?

I have the same problem.
I made both a live cd and a live usb and now none of them work.

When I try the live usb I click "Try Ubuntu without installing", and then just get this screen:http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f375/j-v-s/DSC_5381.jpg

Thanks, that worked for me, except now the internet doesn't work on this install.
