I have not been able to get Chromium to use the Global Menu in Natty. I have purged Chromium and reinstalled from the daily ppa:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu natty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu natty main
I then started Chromium and in about:flags I enabled the Experimental GNOME menu bar support and restarted Chromium. Chromium Web Browser appears on the panel but when I click it I donīt get menu items. Firefoxīs Global Menu is working fine. The article I followed http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/04/global-menu-support-comes-to-chromium/ said I should save my work after enabling menu bar support and before restarting Chromium. I donīt see how to do that since I donīt have a menu.
Has anyone else run into this?
