i'm learning the CUDA Coputing with parallel algrithm. i want to study it on the linux platform.So i have installed Ubuntu 10.4 LTS operation system on my PC. And then download the devdriver-x86-64.run ,cudaToolKit x86-64.run,gpuComputing .gz from the nvidia official website. At first, we must install the driver for cuda not the nouveau which is opensource driver.i followed the step from driver read-me.txt.but a error occur to me 'the distribution-provided pre-install script failed.'i don't understand it's meaning.how to solve it ?thank you in advance.
