I've started a thread on the mailling list to organize a geeknic or two this summer. If you're able to volunteer to help coordinate or have knowledge about locations to hold a geeknic please let me know.

Not in the least.

This forum is international and very fast paced though. Posts can drop down quickly here. You will get a better response if you can target your local area. LUGS, LoCo, schools, colleges etc.

God luck with it and have a sandwich on me.

Thanks. I _did_ post this in my LoCo forum. I should have realized people pay as little attention on these forums as they do everywhere else in life. I'll modify the topic title accordingly.
