hello,

i'm installing Unbuntu server onto new hardware. i'm booting from CD.

to setup raid i'm following these instructions:

https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/serverguide/C/advanced-installation.html

my problem is when i get to point number 8 (set bootable flag to on) it simply wont let me change it from off to on.

what can i do to overcome this please?

thanks
zac

Just a guess here, but it may be because you have that partition mounted.
