Hi

Which is the best firewall in ubuntu10.10 and how to configure it so that hackers do not get access to my computer, i also do use torrent.

UFW is already installed you just need to activate it. UFW - Uncomplicated Firewall (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UFW)

Torrents are a bit more in depth. Do you have a router? BitTorrent optimization and troubleshooting guide (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1259923&highlight=Torrent+tutorial)

in ubuntu, most of the time its the same firewall just with a different user interface. like gufw

no i do not have one. just have a wireless modem
