Hi - this is my post on the forum...a true newbie. Really hoping someone can help. I had problems in Ubuntu 10.x with graphics on the desktop and in some applications starting to corrupt (for want of a better word) after a short while. I recently installed 11.04 hoping it would fix the problem: it hasn't. The attached screenshot gives an example of how the 'firefox' text that pops up from the launcher looks. Any ideas?
