I own an ASUS N61JV-X2 notebook PC which I bought last August 2010.

Here are two reviews of my ASUS N61JV-X2 notebook PC:

I upgraded the RAM to include Crucial 8.00 GB 204 pin DDR3 PC-8500 1,066 MHz SODIMM SDRAM. I also upgraded the hard drive to include an Intel 2nd Generation 34nm MLC NAND SATA-II 160.00 GB Solid State Drive.

I am seriously contemplating buying a second laptop. My first choice will be a new System76 Lemur UltraThin with 8.00 GB of 204 pin DDR3 PC-6400 800 MHz SODIMM SDRAM and an Intel 320 series 80.00 GB Solid State Drive plus an extra System76 Lemur 62.16 WHr Lithium Polymer battery for $1,178.00 USD.

Do you think I should stick with what I already got or get the System76 as well?

I usually use Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird to surf the Internet. I view Microsoft Office documents through LibreOffice very frequently as well. I am looking for a smaller and lighter computer that runs Ubuntu. I will not consider another computer that runs Microsoft Windows at all.

What do you think?

Thank you.
