Hi everyone,
I installed ubuntu a while ago. A few days ago i upgraded to 11.04. (Hated it! i love 10.10 )

Something went wrong...
Now every time i open my laptop...it doesnt it stucks somewhere before the ubuntu welcome screen i think.

When i turn it off and open it again, i get the option to open the pc using the latest edition of ubuntu or previous ones. i choose the second (cause with the first option 11.04 it doesnt open) and it opens just fine (opens 11.04!!).

Anw i want to erase everything and make a clean install of 11.04. i burned the livecd from the website. when i try to boot from the cd it stucks again, says:

"udevd-work[131] '/sbin/modprobe-bv pci:voooo......
unexpected exit with status 0x0009"

Can i do something less consuming than installing windows and then unistall them using the ubuntu cd??

Any help will be much appreciated...

Thanks...
