Upgraded 10.10 to 11.04- now all I have is a desktop with three icons (the 3 I had on the desktop before- Chrome, Thunderbird and Oracle VirtualBox and NOTHING else- no panel or anything else. I cannot seem to access anything except the shut down menu with Ctrl-Alt-Del, and thankfully ask this question using the Chrome icon. How do I get the other icons, task bar (or whatever its called) so I can do anything else? The icon bar is not visible when I move the mouse pointer around. Is there a way to get these things back?
