Hi,

since upgrade to 11.04 (using old desktop, the new one sucks), evolution 2.32.2 is not very well.

- It does not synchronise google contacts, however, calender seems to work fine.

- It hangs while checking for mail on imap, so i need to kill it commandline.

- There is no way (at least, i cant find it) to hide read messages while reading newsgroups.

I noticed other complains about evolution after the upgrade.

Is it a good idea to upgrade to evolution 3 or does anyone has a solution to this?

Tnx,
Grts,
Marcel.

Did upgrading to gnome 3 work for you? I'm having the same problem with evolution regressions.

I posted this thread

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1755375

After upgrading, I have some issues. One of them about evolution.
I use a POP account for private e-mail and a Groupwise 8 account for business.

After upgrading (later reinstalling) to 11.04 I could not connect to my Groupwise account anymore.
Unfortunately I haven't had any suggestions :(

So.. it's time to drop this huge stinkbomb that 11.04 seems to be and move back to software heaven (10.10)
