View Full Version : [SOLVED] Upgrade frozen during "Cleaning up" phase

I searched through the forum on this, but came up dry. I'm presently upgrading from 10.10 to 11.04, and everything went fine through the download and install phases, but during the "cleaning up" phase, it has remained frozen at "Processing triggers for python-support..." for over 20 minutes now, and the Distro Upgrade app has been doing the fading in and out effect that it does to show it's not responding, ever since it hit that point. Is there any way I can salvage this installation, or am I going to have to start over again?

-Thanks

**Edit: Now I feel kind of stupid posting this. It finally trudged through whatever the hangup was, and after a 1/2 hr of being frozen, it's now resumed the "cleaning up" phase, and *fingers crossed* hopefully the rest of the install will be done soon. If anyone's interested in how/why it froze up so long, I'll be happy to provide any info you guys might find helpful.

-Cheers
