icon theme issue with "accessories" category

For some reason, my computer won't read the icon for my "accessories" category. It's in the categories folder and I have icons named "applications-accessories" and "applications-utilities" but it keeps on defaulting to the inherits icon instead. This has happened for a couple of themes I've tried to install, and I can't figure out why.

Can anyone help me?

Seriously, does NO ONE ELSE have this problem? I can't find any help on it!
