There hasn't been one Ubuntu system that I didn't tweak or have to find a fix.that's why I like Linux.Just starting to look for tweaks and will try some old ones.Till I get the system working the way I want it too.For starters I'll do some of these.

This will get your basic cube working , I don't know about 3D windows or cube deformation . I've changed the Compiz profile on three computers without any problems. http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/04/compiz-cube-natty/

No problem , I used the things that I wanted from the other link when I installed 11.04 .
