You don't really uninstall an OS you just reclaim the space and replace the boot loader.

well, how do you have installed? and what do you wanna reploace it with?
How would I get rid of my 11.04 that doesn't work so I can reinstall it. I dual boot with vista.
Also can I keep all my programmes and files that I installed on to my ubuntu whilst using the 10.10?

Used live cd to install

and formatting tool to wipe it out (gparted/partedmagic/...)
