Hi,
I am trying to transfer, to USB sticks, the install disks I carry around for various flavours of Ubuntu.
With USB sticks now reaching affordable prices for 32 Gb, I have the idea that one memory stick can save a lot of CDs and space...
In short, I want to have a bootable memory stick with a menu, allowing me to choose which partition to boot from.
I forsee one possible problem: the designation of drives (sda, sdb, etc) is dynamic with the new grub2, isn't it? Would this interfere with a menu driven system?
Also, I am not fond of Grub2, so alternatives are prefered...
I have no problem putting an ubuntu install on each partition, but I am unsure how to make these menu selectable and bootable.
There has to be some easy way of doing this. :)
Thx Joey
