I'm very much used to typing "evo" for launching evolution, chrom to get chromium etc, when on alt+f2.

Now, in Unity, I get suggestions as icons when typing, but not the "auto-complete" I had in 10.10.

It's annoying to have to use the mouse to select the application to run each time. Any solutions?

I've only used 11.04 briefly off the live CD,so far.It is possible to use the arrow keys to navigate to the required app's.Also holding the super key down labels the launcher icon's with numbers so you can launch them using key combinations.(Ctrl + number if I remember correctly)
