I made a bootable USB for 11.04 and it works perfectly on an MXI Wind 10" Netbook.

Now I am trying the same USB on the new Gigabyte 11" Netbook and all I get is one line of text saying. "SYSLINUX 4.03 blah blah blah by Peter Anvin etal"
it just stays there frozen.

I then tried the third option and it gags on installing the boot helper
The error in the log file says checking c:\ubuntu\install\installation.iso
wrong size 4233101312 > 900000000

Now this operation worked perfectly on the MSI Wind that also had initial trouble booting.

It is a 4G USB do I need to copy the files to the desktop of the windows machine first?
