My objective: to be able to use the top edge of the screen to rotate the screen, and move the currently active window with it.

I will note that this is on 11.04 with Unity.

I tried doing this by going into CCSM->Rotate Cube->Rotate Left-><TopEdge>Button4 (scroll up) and <TopEdge>Button5 (scroll down), but Compiz didn't respond to that at all, to my disappointment, so I'm going to try using a script from one of the command capabilities of Compiz.

I'm trying to figure out how I would have a script do a cube rotate and a corresponding move of the currently active window since I plan on using it in a script from one of the command functions in Compiz.

I've gotten so far as to knowing how to do the rotate from the script (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1274532), but I can't figure out how to get the currently active window (the one with focus) to follow along.
