Mouse cursor bug?? (New user)

Hey guys so... Whenever i bring my mouse to the center of my screen the cursor disappears and if there is anything i need to click there, I am unable to do so. Has anyone else experience this issue? Please let me know.

Edit: I am using ubuntu 11.04
