I have a Hewlett-Packard HP Pavilion dv6000. I had no issues before the upgrade, but after, my wireless driver refuses to turn on the wireless at all. I've seen in most of the posts, people can see the wireless networks but not access them.

I can't even get my little orange wireless (off) light to turn blue (on). The "additional drivers" option in "administration" was a bust and I've tried reinstalling the kernal from my original disk iso.

Here is my wireless info:

03:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN [14e4:4311] (rev 01)I currently have the STA broadcom driver enabled and all I can do is use a cable for internet right now.
suggestions?

I have an HP Pavilion g series and had the exact same problem. I did this fix on 10.10 previously but just re-did it on 11.04 with no problems. Good luck!
