I'm trying to install Kubuntu 11.04 on RAID0, but there is an error when installing grub. My disk config is:
/dev/mapper/jmicron_GRAID
/dev/mapper/jmicron_GRAID1 ntfs /midia/win_c
/dev/mapper/jmicron_GRAID5 ntfs
/dev/mapper/jmicron_GRAID6 ntfs /midia/win_d
/dev/mapper/jmicron_GRAID7 ext4 /
/dev/mapper/jmicron_GRAID8 swap
/dev/mapper/jmicron_GRAID9 ext4 /home
I also have WinXP installed. I tried to install grub on /dev/mapper/jmicron_GRAID and /dev/mapper/jmicron_GRAID7 but there is always "error installing grub on /dev/sda".
My config is: Intel Core I7, Gigabyte P55-UD3l, 2 x Seagate 500Gb RAID0 array, 2Gb DDR3.
Can you help me?
