Hey guys. Right now I'm running 10.10 and I have /home on a separate partition. Is it okay for me to delete all of the hidden files and folders in /home? There are some things that I know I won't be using in 11.04 (awn for example) and I don't think a lot of these are necessary.
I searched the forums and found two different answers. :/
Thanks!

The hidden files in your /home are generally configuration files. Like .gnome, or .config. If you want to preserve your data but start completely clean with a fresh install, just delete what you don't want.
You can save your data plus .mozilla, .opera or .config/google-chrome if you want to save your profile and bookmark from the browsers for example.
