After installing Ubuntu 11.04 and then installing the latest version of Firestarter 1.0.3 the following error occurs when launching the program (see attachment).
Is there a way to create a blank log file? Where should it be created and with what permissions?

Firestarter is no longer maintained, Use GUFW

Is there any thing better than GUFW? I just don't have the control that I have with firestarter.

Eh... I would suggest google.
What kind of control are you looking for?
