I think this was very stupid to be done :(
cause I am really new to Ubuntu and Linux systems

By the way
As you all know
all of what have been removed is listed in the "Removals" list inside the history
at the Ubuntu software center

Are you running Kubuntu, or Ubuntu with Unity/Gnome? Did you run any apt-get commands prior to "sudo aptitude install tork"? Btw I can't find any package named 'tork' in my Natty.

I think the OP may be referring to this package:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/tork/

If that's the case oliveer, tork is source code that will need to be compiled. See http://anonymityanywhere.com/tork/ and note the disclaimer at the top of the page.

If, and I am not even sure this is the case, the package we are referring to is the one you were trying to install, then surely trying to install it with aptitude would have failed if it needs to be compiled from source?

Are you sure you didn't run some other command that removed ALL those packages?

I am running Ubuntu as I listed above but here is the point which could be confusing

that i want to use Tork which is should be run in KDE environment but I want it to run in Gnome

environment

My desire in using Tork and because I am new to Ubuntu those two reasons led me to face such problem

Actually I do not know how to use KDE applications in Gnome environment
It seems that the command I used was totally wrong

Are you sure you didn't run some other command that removed ALL those packages?

Yes. I am sure about this cause I do not know any other commands to run as I still amateur
with the terminal stuff

Please provide the information that was asked for, otherwise there's not much we can suggest.

Can you be more simple please? I did not get what you are aiming for

I am so sorry for that

I already downloaded Tork through its web page at sourceforge.net as a tar.gz file

but here is the problem which in trying to install it and run it in Gnome environment

that what i do not know how to do

Did you run any apt-get commands prior to "sudo aptitude install tork"?

What do you mean by this :(?

OK I read the "Disclaimer"

TorK is unmaintained software - it may not work at all anymore. It may even be insecure. Consider using Vidalia instead.

but my problem with the removed packages and how to reinstall them again

so how to install the packages again ?:(

several ways to try:

- first reboot in recovery mode and select "repair packages": recovery mode is the second line from grub menu; if you dont see grub menu (which is the default on single OS system), hold "shift" key down at bios end process to see the grub menu

- if your system still able to boot, then open a terminal and run:
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

that should reinstall all the removed packages, but i'm not sure, so run:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo dpkg --configure -a

- if none of the previous choices work, then better to make a clean install again
