View Full Version : [SOLVED] 11.04 where did view hidden files setting go

Sadly becoming more Microsoft like.. anyhow how do I find the option to see hidden files permanently in file viewer?? Used to be on the edit prefs menu but now that seems to be gone...:( control h no longer works either...

Feeling better, seems you need to go back to old style menu, which is fine by me.. Easy to do: Log out, then when you are going to log in (after clicking on your name) look at the bottom f the screen and there is a session indicator, you can select classic menus.. And now I can set the viability options. Sorry but it seems to me that "unity" has a long way to go... Multiple window handling on it is bad, and the lack of lenses or groups of programs:) (in it's parlance) makes it impossible to get a good view of installed programs...

Ctrl+h is what I always use while having the directory open.
