I installed Natty today and I am totally dissatisfied with Unity! But that's not my real problem... I may get used to it.

My real problem is: no matter what setting I change in the appearance (controls, colors, window border, icons or pointer), I can only see the effect in that Appearance window -- but it has no effect to the global settings. The global settings remain some ugly old style theme that sucks...

Any ideas? Can I remove some cache, some settings files, ... ?

Update: changing window borders has effect on all windows, changing controls and icons has not!?
