I recently installed gnome 3 and removed unity from ubuntu 11.04. In the area that has my sound menu, universal access, and internet connection, there is no battery icon. This is a problem because I have no way of thelling how much battery life I have left. Is there a way to get that to show up?

hazah, an update that was released this morning installed gnome-power-manager and placed the battery icon on my panel

You should have a battery indicator

However it doesn't seems to work on my notebook to :(
