View Full Version : [ubuntu] Canon LBP2900B problem with Ubuntu

I'm facing a problem with loading the Canon LBP 2900B Printer with Ubuntu..I have downloaded required drivers for ubuntu & installed. As soon as I connect the Printer, the Ubuntu will automatically detect the printer & it will take the drivers also. But printing does not happen.

Can any one provide me a solution? that would be greate..thanks in advance.

Where did you get the drivers from ?!
I'm pissed of with this LBP2900B past 6 months !!

What version of UBUNTU do you use?
I have no problem with that driver and Ubuntu 10.04 & 10.10. But 11.04 is crap.:confused:

I got it to work on ubuntu 11.04 x64... Thanks to fedora forum:popcorn:
