I want to switch back to Ubuntu from Fedora. I just can't get used to things over there, since most of my Linux experience has been with Ubuntu.

My desktop currently has some tricky partitioning that I want to keep if possible. I have backups, but if I can keep the data I've got, it'd be much easier that restoring from backup.

I have two disks configured in a mirror raid. On the raid, I have the following partitions:

/home (encrypted)
/
swap
/boot

Is there an easy way to install Ubuntu onto the root partition without losing all my other partitions?

I'm especially concerned about /home since it's encrypted. Is there anything I'll need to do to make that work after I switch the root partition?
