View Full Version : [SOLVED] Shutdown after grub screen

I upgrade my HP nw8440 from 10.10 to 11.04 and when I restart, I have the grub screen but the computer shutdown as soon as I press one option ??
The computer was running fine with 10.10.
What can I do?
Any ideas ?

I upgraded my other computer, an Acer Aspire One with no problem even with a more complicated configuration as I can run Ubuntu at boot or in vmware in windows (vmware using the physical partition, the same as when I run ubuntu at boot)) .

Ok , some good news for me, the computer started this morning ???
I am sure I tried several times after the upgrade and it was shutting down after the grub screen.
Anyway, I post here the bootscript result in case somebody find something strange.

Glad to see it's working for you.

That's the older boot info script 0.55. It doesn't work well with Natty, but if you're booting ok now, It must be ok.
