I have a new Dell Optiplex 780 with an ATI Radeon graphics card which I just updated to 11.04 (x86_86). At first, I had problems installing the proprietary driver; second try worked.
After I rebooted, the video (dragging/dropping) is choppy and slow. This is of course unacceptable.
I've seen related posts for 10.x, though mine seemed to work fine as I recall.
Compiz is not available by default, which is fine as I can just install it. But this video quality issue is not good.
Anyone know what the issue is and/or of a fix?
