error upgrading from 10.10 to 11.04

Howdy, trying to upgrade a laptop from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04, and I get the following error...
Note, that there are 3 "files" that come up with this message...

W: Failed to fetch http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/maverick/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz 404 Not Found

E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

and then drops out of the upgrade utility

Is this a known problem?

Just wait a bit
