with 2 new shells out for us Ubuntu fans, I thought I would ask what everyone likes or thinks has promise.

I played around with Unity yesterday and Gnome Shell today.

I thought Unity was much better with 11.04 than it was with 10.10. however, I now understand where people are coming from when they say it feels like a toy. I thought it had potential but, I don't like like where they are taking it. I'll check back on it and see where it goes.

Gnome 3 on the other hand seems pretty nice. I have only played with for a few hours but I like the over all feel.

What do you think?
