There is a computer chain of stores in Ontario, Canada called "Canadacomputers.com" that do not have any OS on their new computers...They give the customer the the choice to have Windows or Ubuntu installed as their operating system...tThis will save their customer's a few dollars...There are about 20 of these stores in Ontario alone.

Good for them, we need more stores to step up to the plate.

A search of Ubuntu yielded "No products found".

I can't find any mention either. Plenty of results for Windows 7.

Sorry gentlemen...I was just talking to the guys that work there and their laptops/desktops on display are loaded with Windows, BUT ALL their computers that come into the store have no OS, and will at customer request, install Ubuntu as I was told by the guys that work there...Seriously.

P.S. I would think that they would ship the the States, it's sales for the company.

Ya....You guys are right...Sent off a letter to the company to see if the sales people were leading me on...Not nice if they were.

That's excellent. The local computer stores around here don't know what Linux is.

Edit: Their logo is curiously similar to the Conservative Party logo ;)
