10.04 -> 11.04 Graphics Display Issues

Hello, I have an Asus HD4850 512MB graphics card. Upon the update it seems that opengl is not working properly. My graphics card driver is installed through the additional drivers menu, however, once I enable opengl in compiz config, everything becomes choppy. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the graphics driver but to no avail. I never had any issues on 10.04, so I'm not sure what the problem can be. Any suggestions on what to check?

I would simply stick to 10.04 for a couple of months. 11.04 is not a finished system.
