View Full Version : [SOLVED] Maverick to Natty Upgrade: Restoring previously installed packages...

So I'm using the 64bit CD iso burned on to a DVD to upgrade my Maverick desktop to latest Natty. Everything seemed ok until about an hour ago, now it's just sitting there doing nothing. The progress bar hasn't moved for over an hour and the following messages are visible when I expand "Restoring previously installed packages...":

ubuntu ubiquity:
ubuntu CRON[8214]: (root) CMD ( cd / && run-parts --report / etc/cron.hourly)

Anyone know if this is normal? I'm guessing that it's downloading compatible versions of my installed apps, but there is no way of checking (that I can find).

:confused:

Sorry people, I was being premature. It finished upgrading successfully about 5mins ago. It all seems to be working.
